A TORN MIND is a Scottish Progressive rock band with a contemporary, melodic sound.
The band draw influence from acts such as Karnivool, The Mars Volta, Genesis, Thrice and Dream Theater to fashion their very own brand of youthful and modern prog rock. Sharp musicianship is coupled with an ambitious approach to song writing to create music that is bold yet listenable.
Throughout 2010 A Torn Mind supported UK and International touring acts from a broad range of different musical niches, including Australian heavyweights Karnivool, U.S. rockers Taking Dawn, North Atlantic Oscillation, The Xcerts and Flood of Red.
