    A befriended elk and wolf embark on an eerie journey through their moonlit forest, which slowly but steadily starts to reformat itself around them. Staying closely together, the two wander through their digitizing habitat, forced to push forward into the night, to the edge of the woods, to the safety of the yellow fields.

    "Elk Ember" is a DIY collage of loops with variations on guitar, melodica, vocal and environmental recordings. Apart from some prefabricated kicks, all sounds are acoustically recorded. No synthesizers or virtual instruments were used. This is the unmastered full version, based on and tribute to Andy Kehoe's painting "Together at the Treshold".

    Art = Andy Kehoe
Instrumentation = Pim

    Production = Nick

    Narration = Mike Vendetti (

    Field recordings = daveincamas, hazure, herbertboland, kvgarlic (

    Not in any way do we claim ownership to the rights of Kehoe's depicted artwork, the field recordings or the narration.
