About
In October of 1975 I felt on earth (on Brazil, to be more specific). I was a “normal” child just like any other one (well, I guess I was...) I found out music very very early, when I was 10 years old. Artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and David Bowie could be heard in my turntable when I was only 12. By this time, I started to play my first lines on the bass guitar, but I changed to the keyboards when I discovered the MOOG synth sounds in “A Clockwork Orange” (Stanley Kubrick's movie) soundtrack, and other vintage keyboard sound hearing artists as Keith Emerson, Brian Eno, Jean-Jacques Perrey, Gershon Kingsley and, mainly, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, my second true love affair (the first one was with the MOOG synth, of course).
My first professional band was “Acretinice me Atray” in 1997, and with these band I appeared for the first time on a record. Also in those “Acretinice” days I began to work with my band mate Jimi Joe, which first solo album “Saudade do Futuro” (Pineapple Music, 2005) was the first album I worked as producer, almost ten years later.
Well, after that I played with almost every band and artist in Rio Grande do Sul and recorded my frist solo album, the all-instrumental “Petiscos: Sabor Churrasco/switched-on Bah!”, in which I played my whole arsenal of vintage keyboards (Moogs, Farfisa Organs, Wurlitzer electric pianos, vocoder, ARP synths and many many others…). By these time, brazilian music press began to pay attention on me.
But of course it wasn't enough for me. So I moved to Sao Paulo, in 2005. And since then, I live here and I really love this city! Here, I work as a record producer and studio/live musician and keep on rockin' on my solo shows and solo records. I have my own label, the totally independent "Pineapple Music", and in june 16th, 2008 I released my second solo album, “Supersexxxysounds”. My third album "Zeitgeist/propaganda" was released on september 29th, 2011 and you can find "Supersexxxysounds" and "Zeitgeist/propaganda" for download here on soundcloud!!!!
Hope you enjoy that!!!...
