O paraibano Daniel Nóbrega, também conhecido como Astek, é sem dúvidas um diferencial em qualquer evento relacionado à música. Além de produtor e DJ, destaca-se também pelo bom gosto e conhecimento musical, resultado de uma pesquisa que o acompanha desde a infância, passeando por vários ritmos do passado até chegar aos dias de hoje, buscando sempre aproximar-se do futuro.

Estreou oficialmente em 2002, e de lá pra cá, coleciona apresentações em várias festas realizadas na Paraíba e em outros estados, tais como São Paulo, Ceará, Alagoas, Pernambuco e Rio Grande do Norte. Foi DJ residente da Level, do Incógnito e do Hi-Fi, três renomados clubs de João Pessoa. Tocou no Fenart, Festival de Inverno Campina Grande, Paraíba Fashion Week, Cineport, Jampa Indoor, Fest Verão PB e outros grandes eventos e festivais da região.

Mesclando produções próprias com clássicos e hits da house music, unindo conceito ao gosto popular, Astek deixa seus sets livres e sem rótulos, com muita facilidade de progredir de vertentes mais deep até chegar a outros estilos como o techno, break beats, dubstep. Uma de suas principais marcas são as mixagens rápidas e precisas, tocando várias músicas em um curto espaço de tempo, técnica adquirida no drum and bass, onde também herdou scratchs e outras performances.

Já tocou com top DJs/produtores nacionais como Marky, Felguk, Patife, Marcelinho da Lua, Mau Mau, Bungle, Rods, internacionais como Total Science, Umek, Valentino Kanziane e em shows de grandes bandas e artistas como O Rappa, Skank, Biquine Cavadão, Ivete Sangalo, Mundo Livre S/A e Cordel do Fogo Encantado, além de ter dividido palco com grupos pessoenses de hip hop.

Astek vem trabalhando muito ao longo de quase 10 anos de profissão, sempre realizando projetos culturais com intuito de fomentar a cena de música eletrônica na capital paraibana. É integrante do Pragatecno, maior coletivo norte-nordeste de DJs/Produtores. Além disso, faz parte do cast do selo nacional Putz Records, onde lançou músicas nas maiores lojas especializadas do mundo, contando sempre com o suporte de vários DJs do Nordeste, do Brasil e outros países.
