Okay, Well there isn't much about me. My name is Mehdi Nabil I'm Morrocan And I'm proud of my nationality, I'm 17 I live in Thailand. When I just came to thailand i listened only to rap (french rap to be more precise) and house music, and, listening to what people were listeningt to, in this school, I was like WTF is this music ? there's no melody, nothing. Then a time passed by and i discovered warp 2.0 from the bloody beetroots, so i started listening to this "weird style of music". I continued for a longtime and finaly i ended listening only to electro. Then, like 3 months later I started thinking about production so i got FL Studio 9 i didn't understand anything, then i started to understand a bit, I did some shity track and was proud lol. Then I was told about Ableton Live Suite 8.1 I tried it out I loved it, and don't listen to people who tell you this software for music production is not good or the other one is better or whatever cause these people are kinda wrong, for me, every software as it's own strenghts, and inteface change from a software to the other, that is what it's all about ( even though ableton is the most common mainly because some users used to work on hardware and live is kind of the same with its exeptional patern recording system). I left my old track online to show people my progression, to say you should never give up and always work harder even if you can't get that huge skrillex sound it's useless, evry producer should have his own style and you get that by working hard, and beware of tutorials for basslines and shit like that they're dangerous.
My Commonly used VTIS : Soundfonter, Sylenth 1, Live's Operatorfor effects and comprssing etc i use the ableton built-in ones . And most important : don't be shy and show your friends what you do. If you have good ones and not jealous ones, i'm surethey'll encourage you.
