In the mid 90s Zdob si Zdub started as a hardcore punk band and soon moved towards a more folkpunk sound, added a heavy brass section to their line up and started to experiment with different styles like electronic, drum’n’bass and alternative rock. With their charisma and electrifying live shows Zdob si Zdub today enjoy a status of a top band not only in Moldava but also in neighbouring Russia and Romania. The band represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 and 2011.

Zdob si Zdub’s digital single “Running” provides a foretaste of the upcoming album “Basta Mafia!” and is featuring 3 tracks including an acoustic version of this year’s ESC’s hit “So Lucky”.
