Here is a recording of the full session with Al Gore at the Aspen Institute FOCAS seminar on Thursday, Aug. 4. The recording was made in the Doerr-Hosier Center through the sound board in what was understood to be an open session that was also streamed live on the Internet. The reporter who recorded the audio, Brent Gardner-Smith of Aspen Journalism, had a press pass from the FOCAS conference organizers and was openly recording. Gardner-Smith then prepared a radio story on Gore's remarks for public radio station KDNK, which ran the story on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
