Ashwin is a Songwriter, Rapper and Record Producer. Growing up through out the late 90's and early 2000's, Ashwin was inspired not by the current artists of his time but by the artists prior to his generation. Such as the likes of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. Exposed to this type of music by his older brother, Ashwin started writing songs at the tender age of 14. Though at the time, this was just a way for Ashwin to express himself, it soon became something he wanted to pursue as a career.

Though limited at the time by his inability to compose his own style of music, due to his insufficient musical knowledge, Ashwin taught himself the guitar and keyboard, which not surprisingly, came quite naturally. Once Ashwin acquired the skill to compose his own music with these instruments, his creativity knew no boundaries as he now possessed the ability to create his own “beats”.

Writing, recording and now composing his own music, Ashwin set himself apart from other artists, Rapping about situations people could relate to and experiences most of us have had. After receiving positive responses from his peers and the public in general, Ashwin was determined to get his music out to the world. Not deterred by the conformities of mainstream media, Ashwin does songs the way he wants, and as a result is establishing himself as a fresh, new, up and coming artist.

2012 sees the release of Ashwin's debut E.P, Before The Sunset. Ashwin describes it as a real Rap album with a few surprising remixes included. Due for release mid 2012, Ashwin knows it will solidify his position as one of the best up and coming MC's.
