DJ's NOTES...
Last year I took a year of DJ'ing due to the birth of my little girl.
Until last month It's been a year since I last had a mix, and December 2010 since I last recorded a mix.
In the time which has passed I've been learning music production, and doing a lot of listening to the various forms of Techno out there.
After 3 years of mixing Techno & House, I've found a sound which feels natural.
This mix represents the beginning of my shift to a new style.
There are a few little signs of rustiness in this mix, but this should improve with continued practice.

The best thing about this mix is that it doesn't have to be full of new tracks and bangers! perfect blend of old and new, understated at times but brutally hard to go with it.
Something else this mix shows, and it's not a good thing, is that genuine talent counts for not a lot these days. This mix oozes quality, like your others, from mixing ability, 1 or 2 blips aside (understandable after such an absence!), track selection and programming. You deserve to be heard by a bigger audience on a regular basis in clubs. Something that most DJs nowadays don't deserve.
Clublands loss is my ipod's gain :D
