Picking up where their acclaimed debut single left off, AS ELEPHANTS ARE return with "Youth Blood"/"Lucifer", another blistering slice of epic, widescreen indie which will be available on March 18th via Once Upon A Time Records.

AS ELEPHANTS ARE formed in 2011 after Ben (vocals/guitar) and Harry (bass) had to collaborate on the writing and recording of music for their college music course. Realising that there was no one else like-minded on the course they recruited an old school friend each in Joe (guitar) and Rob (drums) to complete the recording line up. All four had been music obsessives from a young age but this was the first time they had ever played music with other people who felt the same way. Things gelled immediately…

Building on the success of their debut single, “War Cry”, which became an instant blog hit as well becoming a regular on XFM’s playlist and Amazing Radio’s A-List, reaching #3 on the Amazing Radio Charts and picking up spins from the likes of Mary Ann Hobbs and Huw Stephens, "Youth Blood"/"Lucifer" provides a captivating second taste of AS ELEPHANTS ARE’s innovative and atmospheric indie-rock.
