This is a collaboration between Lithuanian experimental composer Arturas Bumšteinas and a Russian seminal jazz / avantgarde figure, percussionist Vladimir Tarasov. The collaboration is based on the series of Tarasov’s conceptual solo percussion records titled ATTO - these series consisting of 11 records were published between years 1985 and 2010 . The idea of this collaboration is to take ATTO records as a source sound material which would be electronically reworked live into a new open-ended compositions which would function as a frame for Tarasov’s live percussion improvisations.

This is a new project and rehearsing/recording sessions are starting in the Spring of 2012. The project’s result version is planned as a live duo consisting of Vladimir Tarasov (percussion instruments) & Arturas Bumšteinas (electronics).
