“No one ever said this would be easy. #MusicIndustry” – Artistrii

Artistrii is a Rapper/Artist from London, United Kingdom, born on the 10th of December 1996. Inspired by many artists including D-Pryde, J.Cole, Fabolus and Wale (with many more), Artistrii is seeking for a place within the Music Industry and an opportunity to make a name for himself. Having quoted “No one ever said this would be easy. #MusicIndustry” via Twitter, many have DM’d Artistrii claiming that the quote is simple yet inspiring for those who want a place within the industry such as Artistrii himself. The specific genre of music that Artistrii focuses in delivering is Hip-Hop/RnB and nothing other than that, offering unique and distinctive sound to those who listen, aspiring to be different to that of other current United Kingdom rappers, underground or within the music industry.

Artistrii is currently focusing on his mixtape, Inspiration&Imagination, due to release next fall in 2013. The majority of content within the mixtape will include rap remixes (with the exception of comedic voice clips and original content from Artistrii) from popular and unpopular songs including Cam’Ron and Vado’s Speaking in Tongues, Wale’s Slight Work Remix ft. French Montana, Wale, P Diddy and Ma$e, and D-Pryde’s It Only Gets Better. While the above is occurring, Artistrii is currently building a team of bloggers, producers, video directors, photographers and journalists alike in order to progress with great speed and get the well-deserved recognition. All that help along the journey will be rewarded respectively. Events regarding performances are soon to occur too as Artistrii has been booked in to perform for certain events such as Realise, to demonstrate support towards the events/companies Artistrii is performing for.

Regarding recognition, Artistrii has a set out plan for how recognition can be pushed beyond crowds. Artistrii has said: “For recognition, the best way I’m starting out is with rap remixes to existing songs. People love that kind of stuff. Plus, it means that I would have better ease promoting remixes rather than my own content; no one would have heard of it as of yet. I think I would have to push my own content out with the remixes on an upcoming mixtape. That could work, indefinitely.” Once recognition within his area is gained, that’s when shows and supporters come in and that’s when a larger audience is introduced… And that’s when Artistrii will be progressing up the ladder to stardom.

No doubt will this be a long journey. High levels of confidence and dedication is required for such a journey. Peaking levels of commitment is also required. This is described as nothing but a “renewable resource” to Artistrii as he explains how he’ll always possess confidence, dedication and commitment.
