@MIKE SPRING: Totally, the NT is a bit crisper and the SEX1 'rounder' to my ears...definitely a case for having both mics. Each one seems to have it's own sweetspot. As my engineering techniques have improved I notice that I'm able to get more out of the cheaper mics, especially with a good preamp. Thanks for the feedback. Best, Arthur : )

Thanks for sharing, it is quite difficult to choose a microphone I think, even after listening to you demo's... These have a quite different sound character I think
