thats the crux for me , it seemed in sl we didnt have the competition, it was all for fun, you never knew if you were talking to a gallerized artist or a hobbyist or a homemaker and the art was taken at face value. I was always a bit skeptical of BiW for that reason as it seemed art world values were being placed on our little garden of even.

@ArtholeRadio: Interesting point Sowa. Personally I feel we must engage with the wider established art world in order to progress. There is a lot of preconceptions and snobbery about virtual art and BiW has undeniably contributed a lot to the continuing debate. -Arahan-

I like your motivation for picks and the understanding that there is no better art. In RL we have saleable art, noteable art, but better is subjective and a poor choice for an art exhibit.
