Si no te escuchas, no puedes cantar con tu voz. Cuanto más alto está el volumen, menos te escuchas. Lo intentas, gritando con ésa voz ni tuya ni del otro. Si bajas el volumen, menos tienes que gritar, y más tienes que buscarte. Trabajar la postura, la respiración y la sensación debería ayudarte a sacar la voz que le corresponde a tu cuerpo. Cuando ya no hay música de fondo, tu versión es diferente. Cuesta reconocerse.

Si no t’escoltes, no pots cantar amb la teva veu. Com més alt estigui el volum, menys t’escoltes. Ho intentes, cridant amb aquesta veu ni teva ni de l’altre. Si abaixes el volum, menys has de cridar, i més has de buscar-te. Treballar la postura, la respiració i la sensació hauria d’ajudar-te a treure la veu que li correspon al teu cos. Quan ja no hi ha música de fons, la teva versió és diferent.

If you cannot hear yourself, you cannot sing with your own voice. The louder you make it, the less you can hear yourself. You try screaming with that voice that is neither yours nor theirs. The softer you make it, the less you will scream, but the longer it will take you to find it. Your postural alignment, breathing and personal awareness should help you bring out a voice that matches your body. When background music can no longer be heard, your adapted version of the song sounds really different. It is hard to recognize oneself.
