About

Artcore Machine is the Italian duo of industrial/IDM/rhythmic noise music composed by Moreno Padoan and Roberto Beltrame.

AM made its debut in 2009 with the EP "De[con]struction" (produced by Moreno Padoan Xonar Records and released under CC license free digital download), receiving critical acclaim from the public, press and insiders.

In 2010 comes the actual album called "Polybius", conjugated in ten episodes custodians of the plate-experiential markedly industrial advance in the previous publication. A repertoire ultra-modern research in electronics become the norm for similar progressive without ever prove permanent, off, or an end in itself. The parable describes the tools used by AM, outlines an aggregation of dry laboratory procedures, sequenced coldly and turned into a neo-abstract style defined in some places as "nu-jazz/industrial", an innovative experimental result of a real passion for sound artificial, reworked, filtered and programmed with shiny futuristic art.

In February 2011, thanks to collaboration with Darkitalia (born during the participation in the "Gothic Room in Turin, 2009"), the duo gets what will be the first date for AM live abroad (Berlin - Germany).

PRESS:

"...AM have in fact the absolute mastery of advanced techniques in the experimental area in which they operate with ease and creativity." - THE DSIDE (italian webzine)

"... Polybius is a job not only well-arranged and produced, but it is yet another proof of how much value and heat may arise when technical skill and emotion come together in the dark corners of space-time." - :RITUAL: MAGAZINE (italian magazine)

"... Technological experiment composition impregnated with the substance and the outside of the usual format for easy consumption." - ASCENSION MAGAZINE (italian magazine)

"... This is a band I would highly recommend to at the end of Tasters original, progressive and intelligent electronic Experiences! This is definitely a wonderful discovery!" - SIDELINE MUSIC MAGAZINE (belgian webzine)
