Armed Recordings was set up early 2009. At a time where the economic crisis was hitting the world hard. Due to piracy, illegal downloads and file sharing software record labels are becoming more selective on the tracks they want, as profits are quickly stumbling due to these factors.

We at Armed decided, instead of being a label that only accepts the tracks that will be an instant hit to the commercial side of dance music, we will stick to our roots, also of accepting and pushing those underground tracks as well.

After almost a year of setting up the label, Armed are confident that in 2010 we will make our name as a high quality independent record label. Months and months have been spent dealing with artists and building up a collection of tracks that are due for release at the start of the new year.

We believe that being a label doesn't just stop at trying to sell records and make an easy profit, thats why we have built up our connections.
Months have been spent creating databases for our distribution lists. Ensuring that our records get into the right hands that will push the release's from Armed Recordings even further in the music scene.
