Arkanna began in electronic music back in 2008, recording vocal samples for ‘Fires Still Burnin ’on Elite Force and Meat Katie’s Dustbowl EP (U&A Recordings). She has also featured as a vocalist with Bambook’s ‘Off the system’ released on Baroque Records in 2010, and works as a vocalist with Trip Hop collective Timeshade.

Since then she has been concentrating on her own electronic creations, which also feature her ghostly vocals. Arkanna is a diligent and hardworking Artist, bursting with creative ideas.
“I’ve always loved electronic music but my first encounter with making it began in 2006 playing around with Propellerheads Reason. With the intention of developing and recording the acoustic songs I had written, I also started using Ableton Live and soon I discovered a whole new world of sound and instruments that I fell in love with” Her productions embrace various styles of electronic music, including Ambient, Downtempo, Trip Hop, Breakbeat, Techno and Drum n Bass.
