This is the inaugural edition of end fence Enclosure Acts, a regular podcast series. end fence is a new label and creative outlet co-operated by kuxxan SUUM and I. Our first release comes from rising polymorph De Qualia. His single -- Grasp -- will be available in late February. We'll soon be offering many more editions of the podcast, and the end fence release schedule is set well into the Summer. Be sure to visit the site for all this and more, including event listings and a multitude of free tracks.

Act I is a sketched impression inspired by LUCA: the Last Universal Common Ancestor. LUCA is the most recent islet of life from which all descends. Mother involute. We've been attempting to recreate her for decades now, hoping to bring forth the cenancestor for the first time in 3.8 billion years. Something about the idea has been haunting me. Teasing into my creativity and supplying difficult elements. Reminding me of the strangeness of life emerging from agential structure. I hope you enjoy this brief respite from the grind and shriek of days laid end to end.
