Since being picked up by tastemaker Diplo to be the creative director/artist for his record label Mad Decent, Paul Devro has toured everywhere from India, Russia, Australia and Asia, to across North America and through almost all of Europe. He has shared billing with the likes of Crookers, Justice, Chromeo, Diplo, Fake Blood and A-Trak, to name a few. Devro has a niche for breaking new genres of dance music, which is evident when listening to his highly praised mixtapes for the likes of Dazed, The Fader and XLR8R.

“Live from Goat Island” is a mix of UK future bass, nudisco and rap, inspired by my time on Goat Island during my last trip to Hawaii. From its beautifully decayed benches, i's calm lil’ bay and three beaches, to its status as a bird sanctuary, Goat Island is a varied paradise that I love. It was first inhabited by a 19th-century lawyer, who proclaimed himself king of the island when he found it was not on any of the king's maps. It is also the island where he kept his two mistresses. This mix is my love letter to the island—varied, calming, upbeat and fun. – Paul Devro
