This genre enjoys a rich history that draws upon disco, synthpop, electro, new wave, italo, boogie and the talents of DJs and producers who sought to mix seemingly disparate sounds with similar attitudes. We pick up where house went pop and into the international charts; stopping at points where hip hop was adopted and acid house laced rock, and through to a new era where its feeling is carried forth by another generation.
