On October 1, 2000 Konfekt, Basteroid and Metope founded the electronic music label Areal. Their productions up to this point were the main reason for this decision: no matter wether it was a solo production or a collaboraton, one could always reduce their work to a common denominator. So they decided to give their music a ground to develop: the Areal. In 2008 we established our sublabel IRR (International Records Recordings)

Demo Submissions:

We receive probably 100 demos a week, thats about 25 hours to listen to music.
And guess what! 99% of the music received has nothing to do with what we release on Areal or IRR, so in most cases it's a waste of time to you and to us. If you know the labels and you have the feeling, that it is great to release here and it suits with the areal or irr-sound, then send us your soundcloudlink via email to info @ areal-records.com

We apologize for being so strict, but our time has to be managed well. We just dont have the time to listen to more than 15 demos a week.
