AR lets loose with the first of two samplers; showcasing a few of the artists who have helped us to define the label over the last 2 years. (Black) begins with some deeper, housey cuts to get you grooving in the early dance-hours.

Uone kicks off with the upbeat vibes and bouncy grooves of ‘Crazy As I Am’. This track should get the most dedicated chin-strokers shaking their hips and tapping their feet, let the groove move you boys! (And yes, chin-strokers, we know you’re all boys.)

An epic 13 minutes of deep and heavy follows on, courtesy of Rodrigo Rivera. ‘First Catch’ flows through subtle but steady changes, taking its time to reel you in and set you a-shakin’. Once it’s got you though, it won’t let go; this groove is insatiable. So hang up your nets and hit the floor, or just lie back in your lounge room and let it wash over you like lapping waves of soul.

Alex Mark rounds out the selection with ‘Owl Theory’. This wise-man’s jaunt is a-hop with old-school sounds and the sense of light-hearted fun that pervades Alex’s music. You might have to graduate to some new moves on the dancefloor if you want to keep up with this one.
