Scott Boutin is a producer and DJ from San Francisco who has been making various types of electronic music since 1993. His most personal and experimental work is released under the moniker ARCHETYPEWRITER. It is heavily influenced by jazz, dub, idm, and post-rock. He has also released 5 ep's and an album as Blue Soul. That material ranges from deep house and disco to acid and downtempo. Upcoming releases under the name Metadub find Scott focusing his sound palate on the cross section of deep dubstep and techno.
