About
I write a mixture of melodic, dark, brash and funky Nu School Breaks / Breakbeat. Comments are welcomed and encouraged!
Biography -
Started writing music with my brother (check out DeadKousin) in 1993. First love was Drum and Bass, but found writing New School Breaks/Breakbeat more interesting.
Bought a Playstation when I discovered 'Music' with which I wrote all the tunes for my first Album: Silicon Beats - The Past Present's Future in 1999. (All tracks in Set 1)
Then upgraded to Music 2000 which I've been using ever since, with a bit of hiatus in recent years.
Method -
All the tunes are written without the use of preset or sampled loops (drum or otherwise). I prefer to write everything from scratch - drum patterns, breaks and all melody parts note by note, beat by beat. None of these tunes have been processed or altered using a PC, other than final mastering (EQing, etc).
