Arcane Dialect is a Dutch electronica project, created by Paulus W. Its origins are to be found in early videogame and electro-industrial music of the 90's, which provided an inspiring contrast to the mainstream electronica of the day. After starting out with a Tracker, I got my first synth in 1998. The switch from Tracker to MIDI based production began early 2000's while slowly building a home based studio. Together with the onset of studies, the discovery of new interests and several years of aimless travels, music production was quite sporadic.

After experimenting and drifting through various styles, Arcane Dialect was born through a collaboration with MuRas in 2009. Always playing live without backing computers, we performed an abstract blend of electronica soundscapes and symphonic electro as PNP / Phantom Practice. These intensive sessions developed my skills as a live musician, solidified my sound and provided the catalyst to form Arcane Dialect.

The first EP, Renascence, is available through the links below!
