About
Don't know how I got here, but I kind of like it.

wow. lol, this theme came out of no where...in a good way ;) i love how it develops and the mood is lovely. i like when pieces transition without much warning ;)
nice combination of influences. great sounds too. interesting sort of lo-fi vocal mix.
@Mikans: thanks Mikans! heh, i don't remember much of how i went about this one. i do remember being in an odd mood, however ;)
wonderful mood and soundscapes. the sounds near the end are quite fun also ;)
Very much enjoying the positive energy. I'd like to hear this in a car zooming past some transcendent landscapes.
@T.Dack: thanks so much!
fantastic. really beautiful.
@what-next: thanks for your kind words. i agree somewhat on typical length, unless the music is lost in itself. that's usually interesting for me. much appreciated.
great sounds. i like how you're using this app.
great bass tones, sub bass, and separation/clarity. great bottom! but i guess a lot of people always tell u that ;)
great job with this mixtikl track! i like the sounds you got from it.
i like the krispy percussion!
sssweet!
mood+tension+space=wow
what's not to like about this? inspirational.
i really like this track.
Part 2
Part 1
inspired stuff!
very cool...wasn't expecting that particular drum sound and beat.
great mood(s)
lovely.
@spidergod: thanks! i appreciate it. I really like your work and checked out your latest. great moods and layered sounds/textures.
@WoD God: I appreciate this comment. While I admire patience, I also like tension. Part of what I love about music is that it can take me wherever I want to go.
@TRANSLUNAR: thanks Translunar! It's more pretty than I usually go for, but I'm pretty happy with it overall ;-)
love that right there!
@SmoodyGroovez 2: Thanks! I guess props to Samuel Barber and perhaps Vangelis? I didn't plan any similarities but I do hear a little. Anyhow, I love them both!
love this! great choral sounds.
wow. great track! wonderful sounds and arrangement. hey, I like that slower tempo at the end. you used Blofeld, no? great production!
@MarkMosher: great demo Mark. yeah, i like the blofeld a lot. some folks say its 'cold' and 'metallic' but it is Sooo much more. I find it can be quite warm as you've demonstrated. Many of the pads are gorgeously lush as well. thanks!
@IP(identity problem): thanks man!
@IP(identity problem): hah! I will never look at frogs the same way again.
@John McLaughlin: Thanks John! I certainly respect...revere Mr. Zappa. That's quite a hilarious visual you have there! I've been fascinated by throat singing for some time now. The movie Genghis Blues sort of brought that back for me. This was one of those tracks for me where I was like "How the hell did this happen?" Needless to say it was an entertaining experience. Thanks for the tip/warning! Ahh, the secret for me is hot tea and honey. Lot's of honey! I used to buy those bears with honey in them and eat the whole thing behind stage between scenes, lol.
@SmoodyGroovez 2: very kind. thanks!
i love Ryuichi Sakamoto! always have. great remix.
i'm very much enjoying this.
wow. love the atmosphere. I like how you worked in Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's great vocals too. I've usually heard him fiery hot, but you were able to capture his Smoody smooth side ;-)
@SchizoBrainiac: hehe. i had a laugh playing that back ;0
lol, brilliant from beginning to end. sheesh that;s a rip roaring solo around 3:09 too!
great atmosphere here. i like the crunch on the speech vocal too!
