This one is always requested, I think it's because it's the only song people know the name of. If the vocals are trash, it's my fault, I'm only recording because I'm sick, so I get time off work :D

Yeah, always close my sets with this song, once you get to 4:04 you can go ahead and picture me putting on the waterwings at a show ;D

here are some lyrics for those interested:

I think I may have started going mad,
Because I swear I see your face in the peeling from the drywall.
The floorboards are raving at how cute we'd look--
I just wanted to hold you but I lack the wherewithal.

I know I slept through the latter half of the movie,
But every spare dream I get, I swear, you're on my mind.
So here I rest among the cynics, tightly wrapped among your sheets,
'Cause you know I wouldn't waste your time.

    The silence is KILLING me.

So is it greed or is it hunger, if I want another taste?
If it knots up in my stomach and runs red across my face?
It's an ocean between us, I swear, oh, but it's not so bad--
'Cause I'm learning how to swim.

It's kind of like this nightmare, where the hero wakes up bleeding,
But he's caught inside a cylinder and then the movie ends.
They all clapped and spilled their cola into popcorn bags,
But you sat until they kicked you out, 'cause you cared about what happens to him.

You followed this couple out and you waited oh so patiently
While they stopped to play a game of 'Tag, your tongue is it.'
You catch the hero from the corner of his eyes,
But he's a different part of me that I don't miss one bit.

So is it conflict or conversion, if the hand he plays is lost?
If it crowns him in suburbia at an elementary cost?
It's an ocean between us, I swear, oh, but it's not so bad--
'Cause I'm learning how to swim.

I watched the empty screen post- credit roll,
I searched for leaves of grey the daemons left among our severed hands.
Just the veneer was peeling like bubble-gum from the bottom of our souls,
Left to wander into fate unguided and unmanned.

So, once there were strings that came down from my heart,
And it's taken years just to untangle them and to make them like new.
If you should spot one gone astray from your blue periscopes,
I hope the common logic helps to tie me up to you.

So am I inquiring or expiring, if I choose to take my chance?
If I pace myself will I erase myself with shards of shattered glass?
It's an ocean between us, I swear, oh, but it's not so bad--
'Cause I'm learning how to swim.

I've got my waterwings and everything,
It's just the silence here is drowning me!
I've got my waterwings and everything,
It's just the silence here is drowning me!
I've got my waterwings and everything,
    Everything!

'Cause I'm learning how to swim.
'Cause I'm learning how to swim.
Well, I'm learning how to swim.

I've got my waterwings and everything,
    Everything!

    heh.
