Chris Rossi A.K.A Aquilaganja/Drop the Junk hails from a small town on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland called Milngavie. At a young age Chris got into the hardcore scene which was the dominant music style in Glasgow and Scotland at the time, respecting artists such as Marc Smith, Scott Brown & Lenny Dee to name a few.

Electronic dance music has always been a passion of Chris’s no matter what the genre though the first styles he chose to mix on vinyl were Hard House and Hardstyle.

After a few years mixing on vinyl Chris decided the next best thing to look into was Dance Music Production courses at the School of Sound Recordings in Manchester, England which is owned and run but Ian Ho, who was the main producer/audio engineer for classic dance group N-Trance. Chris chose to do an advanced Cubase course which saw him score top marks in his class by the end of the course.

As soon as Chris finished his production course he got in contact with the legendary Dj/Producer Alex Calver (Calvertron) who Chris highly respected for his unique style and his ability to write multiple genres at a professional level. This gave Chris the perfect opportunity over a 2-3 year period to learn tricks of the trade production wise from his ideal which was to boost Chris’s own ability in the studio.

Mid 2008 saw Chris launch his Aquilaganja alias writing Electro/House and a little bit of Minimal/Techno. By writing these genres Chris managed to get his tracks signed to labels such as:
