About
A Quiet End began as a seed within another musical project some years ago. Previously there were film scores, unheard works, tossed away recordings, and many things gone unfinished on an ongoing journey of fits and starts, ups and downs, hills to climb and corners turned, before finally taking clearer shape more recently as a steady force for unabashedly pursuing long-stirring visions and ideas. Primarily a musical vehicle, in time it will extend beyond this, becoming a place where any number of things can happen.

nice job on this! love the textures.
If I haven't told you before, you are an excellent drummer! Wish I had someone like you around to play with.
@Crimson Mourn: oh man. I hear you on the computer problems, especially with too many instruments. but I have to say, you make them sound great, whatever you're doing, it's pristine for what you are using. Much better than the mastering I'm able to achieve at times.
love this breakdown here! looking forward to getting into the whole album.
nicely done!
wow! another spectacular, beautiful, tune. lots of development here too! I'd be curious to know what you record to, and how you go about doing your mastering.
@myristica: thank you! and thanks also for the shout out on twitter :)
nicely done guys!

love the original version, but this is great! sounds amazing with the strings and room-atmosphere.
nice job on this one too! I remember you're telling me about it.

@Francesco Maria Carreri: and I'm a huge fan of him, so that's completely awesome and very flattering. he's one of my dream collaborations for sure...
@Francesco Maria Carreri: it's just one guy for the moment ;) but thanks a lot! More to come.
@Francesco Maria Carreri: thank you! they were just conceived as instrumentals and then basically recorded as they were improvised...but I can see in some of the melodies some room for more song-like things, like singing. might be more like that sooner rather than later :) Most of the songs from the self-titled EP feature vocals.
@thrifleganger: thanks! I really appreciate that. I just posted this song over at my website as it's one of my favourties from the compilation. http://www.aquietend.com

@get-effect: thank you! that is, of course, very flattering.
ragged and wonderful.
@There Is None: Again, thank you.
@There Is None: thank you! I think this is my favourite from 'Past Fragments'. was totally improvised during the recording.
