Aqob is a solo project, influenced mostly by Ambient-Techno and Electronica. Based around sound synthesis and studio technique, Aqob's sound oscillates between song and ambience, experimentation and craft. Inspiration springs from childhood sci-fi and utopia, modulated by human psychic dimensions: time, mind, dream, love. By these guidelines, songs are shaped in order to contain and direct sonic experimentation, the feelings conveyed taking priority over novelty or stylistic boundaries. There is a conscious balance between abstraction and figuration, which purposes to inspire but not direct the imagination, thus assuming a collaborative part in the making of human experience. Enjoy!
