The label was founded in 2004 as a part of the Olaf Apholz activities as producer and liveact.
During 2004-2010 they exclusively made 12"vinyls with harder techno music. Since March 2011, the digital label is active.
Tech House, Deep Tech, Detroit techno and techno are the main styles but variations are often found in the remixes.
Electronic dance music from international DJs and producers are encouraged at Apwood Recordings esspecially A too strict stylistic limitation is not on the plan.
Rather, the variety and extravagance could be added as an attitude.
The language is music and internationally.
All tracks are danceable and produced with electronic instruments.
