aphiks is a 23-year old Techno artist from Budapest.

Started out as an ambient-Techno DJ in his teenage years, constantly developing his passion for electronic Tunes. In 2006, started focusin’ more and more on triphop & dub oriented sounds. There were a long period when he didn’t visit Record-stores, so in order to alleviate his appetite for music, got deeper into music production experimentin’ with twistin’ knobs and cutting up samples.

From 2009, continued to DJ more frequently again, with his mate, dub-Techno producer Zoltan Solomon, playing back2back ‘spacedubbed’ sets. aphiks has been a regular guest at a Techno orineted show on Underground radio-Station (Tilos) and a number of events in Budapest.

In 2010, performed at an International Festival with media art & sound Installations in Dortmund called: Audiodigital presents Budapest Nights.

Nowadays in his sets and productions, focuses on dark / deep / magnetic / spacedubbed out / hypnotic Techno and workin’ on his first LP.
