PDXOXO 7.6.2012 Michael Halloran, epi. 2 - Part 1

Anya opens episode 2 with details about her 10 day trek from Portland to San Diego and Los Angeles, including therapy and a little, kinda, sorta, not-really, quasi-tiff with her mother. Thus begins a two-part interview with longtime friend and radio mentor Michael Halloran (current DJ on 91X in San Diego). Halloran reminisces about his days as an up and coming DJ at WDET, bassist in The Plugs, and manager for Rhythm Method. He tells stories about his days interviewing baby bands like U2, meeting Daryl Hall, Don Was, Shannon Hoon, and Frank Black, to name just a few.
