Antidote is a new EDM duo consisting of PoiZoN (Austin Winfield) and Mortar (Matt Smolich). Originating in early 2013, the two have stormed the EDM scene with their energetic basslines, uplifting melodies, and punchy drums. Add in a ferocious mechanical assault, a series of high-velocity melodic refrains, and an array of precisely-honed sounds ranging from piercing squeals to deep, cavernous growls and you have yourself a highly versatile dubstep duo that borders on several other genres of electronic music. 2013 holds a promising future, and Antidote will not stop until they hit the top.
