About

I've been writing songs for 20 years. The songwriters Colum Sands, Kieran Goss, and Tommy Sands lived nearby when I was growing up in Warrenpoint, Co. Down, and their example allowed me to take songwriting seriously (and occasionally not too seriously). Early aspirations to become a full-time songwriter (in my early 20s) got postponed for an academic career. I recently started performing again, and I am looking forward to finishing my debut album. I hope you enjoy listening to these songs.

@Julian Longden: Thanks. My music knowledge is pretty rudimentary, so if I've picked up a knowledge of compositional structure along the way it's probably accidental! :)
