Anselmi Kuusisto is a "veteran" in Finnish DJ scene and has been DJing in the biggest clubs in Finland since 1999. Anselmi is famous for eclectic genre-breaking sets and has been introducing generations of clubbers to new and exciting music.

A major breakthrough in Anselmi’s career came early when he won the Finnish championship for DJing in 2000. The gigs in smaller clubs and youth discos rapidly changed to major venues and festival appearances.

House music has always had a special place in Anselmi’s heart. After visiting Ibiza for the first time the idea of having a club night dedicated to pure quality house music was formed. Now after 8 years and more than 300 events Fiilis is the longest running club night dedicated to house music in Finland.

Anselmi is especially known for his groovy warm up sets and has been preparing the stage for the biggest names in house including Erick Morillo and David Guetta and has recently been also playing on the main stage at one of the biggest parties in Finland; Pacifique 2010. Besides Finland Anselmi has also been DJing at the intimate house clubs in Ibiza.

As an all-round professional nightclub Anselmi knows how to control the crowd and can just as easily play an uplifting peak-time set. Playing at the top slot at all the major student festivals in Finland including Goom cruises is a solid proof of this.

In addition to doing club nights as a DJ Anselmi is currently in charge of entertainment at Coffee House Lounge Club in Kouvola and has also planned the soulful music for the venue. Anselmi’s house music mixes can also be heard monthly at the biggest commercial youth music station in Finland; NRJ, where he is co-hosting a monthly At The Club -program.
