    The Nigerian soul singer Nneka has good form when it comes to remixes, from Coki of Digital Mystikz' recent re-rub of "My Home" to the Chase & Status version of "Heartbeat" that sent her into the charts in 2009.

    "Shining Star" is a highlight from Nneka's forthcoming "Soul Is Heavy" LP, released on New York label Decon on 19 March. This time she gets the remix treatment from on-form Joe Goddard, riding high with his 2 Bears project and recent solo hit "Gabriel". His soulful, US Garage-inflected take on Nneka's hook-laden original looks set to be another smash.
