My mission and calling is to spread the GOOD NEWS of the gospel to all willing vessels with ears to hear and eyes to see JESUS as Lord and Savior. My method is unique in its own way. My style is like no other. My message is that of SALVATION. I once was lost but now I'm found.I know it is my duty to proclaim the name above all names in song. I worship the Lord my GOD in spirit and truth. I am blessed so I feel I should BLESS others. If I overcame anyone can---BELIEVE THAT:) I was born and raised in the ghetto of Chicago,Illinois. As a youth my passion for music was evident. Growing up I experienced many trials and fell victim to my circumstances (thank God for JESUS). At the age of 8 I entered my first talent show and knew after that experience what I was meant to do. I didn't realize that God had his righteous right hand upon me because I didn't know HIM. I went to church maybe two or three times as a child and those visits only occurred on Easter. I pursued my passion but fell short. The music I produced was pleasing to the ear but damaging to the soul. Deep inside I was empty and ashamed,but didn't understand why. I had conformed to the worlds standards not realizing GOD had set me aside for kingdom work. My teen years was both exciting and depressing. Label deals came and went. Doors opened and closed. I had a large following and surrounded myself with ungodly people. Ultimately my lack of knowledge lead me into a downward spiral of destructive behavior. Alcohol and drugs became my safe-haven and problems with the authorities soon became my reality. It wasn't until I reached the age of 30 that I heard the voice of the Lord as clear and audible as my music. I was incarcerated for something I didn't do and very bitter and angry at my life. I realized at that moment that there is an unseen GOD.The Holy Spirit brought to my rememberance all my past mischievious activities I had gotten away with-without suffering any consequences. On that cold day in a lonely cell, I picked up a bible for the first time in my life. I read and studied it diligently. Upon my release at the age of 32 I had a new mind,spirit ,soul and outlook on life. What once was fun had become detestable and what I once considered fairytale was now very real. I went to church for the first time as an adult in 2008 and have been going ever since.This is a piece of my story, this book is being updated everyday. My walk with Christ has not been all peaches and cream (LOL). But I am better than I was yesterday and ten times better than I was ten years ago. It's a journey I am more than willing to take.
