Anniversary Circle who originally hail from a then small mining community in South Yorkshire were producing original material before their time, there seemed nothing else better to do during the post punk era with mass unemployment, the miners’ strike and the wind of change blowing over darkened horizons. With the colour of grey through every pain of glass, the records danced on the turntables as bands such as the Banshees, Joy Division and Bauhaus influenced a whole new era.
Keith and Martin together penned their own tunes and went by the name of Edo La Tree Le Plastic Elephants did so under the toxic rain of Margaret Thatcher. During the 1980s post punk era they were defiantly the winters children and aroused the cliché 'its grim up North' whilst they thought of themselves as eerie, disquieting and strange being influenced by the joy Division, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Gang of Four, Bauhaus and John Lennon. Whilst managing to make a difference in their small shunted mining town (as no one else seemed to be bothering.) It did not last as they defected in to the Skeleton Crew and the Malak Brood.
As Le Plastic Elephants became a forgotten invention girlfriends came and went as did the bands and line-ups. Martin and Keith reunited in 1989 with the help of Adrian Fusiarski to Form what was later to become known as the Buzzsonic and wrote new material keeping the old stuff in a very dark place under lock and key, only for Keith to leave in 1990.
After many years Martin who chases the aces in Surrey and Keith who keeps the spit turning in Yorkshire are reunited once again as Anniversary Circle.
Estelliane Kermagoret the most recent edition to the band, originally from Brittany, brings her ethereal tones to the Anniversary Circle sound with a breath of new life amongst the lost souls.

Saturated Feathers
The debut album will be released on the 15th of August. It is an album of dark ironic tales of a glimmering soul that hides the truth behind the hands of a drowning man. Story’s from birth to death, leaps of faith to a bottomless pit, threats of danger and desire and nightmares of falling and never waking up.
Anniversary Circle You’re born, you live and you die in your beds. On each occasion there is cause for celebration or mourning. Always acted upon without question… When we die do we ask? Do we go to heaven? Do we go to hell? Or are we part of the atheist ,agnostic, organic, Darwinist plan and go to earth? Turn to dust? Do we have a choice? Or are we in a perpetual cycle for all eternity? Anniversary Circle, an existing living hell.
Anniversary Circle the music of Alternative/Gothic/Post Punk prose. They are the burning embers of the last forgiven souls.
