Singer/songwriter, pianist, and arranger Anne-Marie Hildebrandt offers renditions of traditional Irish songs and tunes. In a voice both agile and heartfelt, and showcasing a technical ability at the piano far above average, Hildebrandt confirms her love for and understanding of the Irish musical tradition more firmly with each track. The final song, "Green Fields," is an original song by Ms. Hildebrandt. Also featured is the ever-popular "Johnny Has Gone for Soldier," in a slightly newer version than the one she is known for performing as part of Carnegie Hall's Musical Explorers series.

Ms. Hildebrandt is joined by fab fiddler Katie Davis Henderson, most known as a founding member of the popular group "Fiddlesticks," on four of the tracks. On tracks 4 and 8, Hildebrandt reveals herself to be an imaginative and sensitive accompanist as well as a soloist.
