The Mosquito Fleet in an all acapella chamber ensemble of 14-16 more advanced singers designed to deploy quickly for outreach appearances at community events, schools and more. Just as the historic Anna’s Bay Mosquito Fleet -- a colorful assortment of boats and ships -- provided key services to Hood Canal a century ago, this versatile Fleet of community voices provides a wide variety of musical programs across the region. Affectionally known as “Mozzies”, their annual programming cycle includes seasonally appropriate repertoire for miscellaneous outreach appearances, as well as music that supplements the musical efforts of Anna’s Bay’s other community ensembles.
