Electric is a song about an old flame, that pure passionate burning love that once was alive but has burnt out.

"We were electric" is a nostalgic almost desperate cry to go back to what was, knowing it can't and will never be the same as nothing is permanent. And once you lose that innoncence- you can never get it back again.

All good things come to an end. But the end is a new beginning and there is no greater joy than welcoming change ;)
