live set for my gig in New York City @ Havoc Sound Lab. Brooklyn
2006 I used the music for the video
NYC (freedom power fall)
Shooted in New York City, the video shows the bad and the good of American Empire under a critical and funny perspective.
Considering the importance and the predominance of the United States in the world, specific for the cultural impact in our life, the work tells NYC through the simbology of liberty, achievement, melting pot, nationalism, wealthy's excess and social differences.
The statue of Liberty, the Empire State Bulding and the Twin Towers are plastic souvenirs to criticize the politicians´lies and to remember that the american way of life is changed, after the 11th of settember 2001.
"I realized the music of NYC for a party that took place in Brooklyn on July 2001, I shooted the video in November 2006. My personal acustic and visual trip."

I really appreciate how much complexity there is to this piece, and I'm only almost 5 minutes in. There are lots of interesting sounds manifesting. A suggestion would be maybe to layer some samples from old films on top from time to time. But who knows, this is almost an hour long, maybe that occurs at some point throughout already. Anyway, this is very experimental and exploratory, and I dig that. Kudos.
