Last night I lit the moon
with silver thoughts to follow you

I stepped over broken bones, saw the ghosts of bombs
Climbed and climbed
I fly with time
Lunar surface is a field of dust
Electric dust of space and sun
I saw the earth from above
Kept my ear to the ground
Heard the moon tremble,
Put gravity aside

The sun reaches out to the moon
And milks its silver mold

The moon, silvery angel
Reflects the light of the mightier sun
