Following in the footsteps of Vladimir ‘PROFF’ Ershov, Alex Monakhov and Sergey Tkachev is Artem ‘Arty’ Stolyarov, the latest young Russian producer making his mark on the Anjuna labels. "Rush" begins with a spacey opening then emerges from a sweeping haze of synths for a mid-paced, groove-dominated number.
The Tech Mix spin on the original shoves the punchy grooves to the front of the queue before the resurgent Dan Stone brings it kicking and screaming into the main-room domain on a more up-tempo mix with his characteristic pianos and driving bass leading the way. The release has quickly become a favourite among fans clocking up 5 weeks in succession on Above & Beyond's radio show 'Trance Around The World', including as 'Record Of The Week' and 'Webvote Winner'.
