Playlisted on BBC Radio 1's B List, 'Sun & Moon' is the first single to be taken from Above & Beyond's eagerly awaited second artist album 'Group Therapy'. For more info see http://www.aboveandbeyond.nu/grouptherapy
The song features the distinctive vocals of Richard Bedford, revered for his contributions to the band's acclaimed debut album 'Tri-State', now widely recognised as one of the landmark electronic albums of the last decade.
Above & Beyond’s stock has risen considerably in the past 12 months; in December they were a number one global trending topic on Twitter, in October they sold out Brixton Academy UK and were confirmed as the UK’s biggest and most popular DJ outfit when they were voted #5 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll.
Key 2010 gigs included closing the Dance Village at the 40th anniversary of Glastonbury and playing to 60,000 people at LA’s Electric Daisy Carnival. The trio also headlined Cream & Radio 1's Ibiza event at Privilege (the world’s biggest club) with Underworld for BBC Radio 1’s annual Ibiza Weekend.
Previously labeled “The UK’s new dance superstars” by Radio 1’s Pete Tong, they have played to 1 million people on Barra Beach in Rio and also soundtracked the launch of Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo A firm fans’ favourite judging by the reaction at the trio’s recent sell-out gigs at Brixton Academy and the Hollywood Palladium, ‘Sun & Moon’ is a track that's made for festival stages and big room arenas. The sound of Above & Beyond at their grandest, the song stands tall among their classics ‘Alone Tonight’, ‘Can’t Sleep’ and 'Home'.
Remixes come from The Others (dubstep), Distance (dubstep), Seiji (bass), Kim Fai (house), 7 Skies (trance) and Dennis Sheperd (trance).
