I'm a DJ in Austin, TX. Back in June of 2008 I combined my love for electronic music and my desire to be apart of every show possible into the finely honed skills of mixing, beatmatching, and performance. With an extensive background education in music including 5 years of piano lessons, 3 years of choir, and a lifetime of musical appreciation in a family of musicians, I had a unique advantage, tackling the necessities of DJing in 3 months when most fledgling DJs need a year. There was a lot I knew to begin with, but it pales in comparison with how much I've learned about the whole process in general over the last year and a half. I fully expect for the learning process to go on; indeed it should never end. I only hope that I can improve myself more and more as time goes on.
