Since kicking off his DJing career in 2003 @ ChinaBlack, DJ An Isma has pushed full steam ahead with no signs of slowing down.
Picking up the art of guitar-playing at the age of 13, this layered a basic foundation towards music structure, proving useful in the later years in his DJing and music production.
So diversified in his music influences from Funk, Soul/Motown and Oldskool Hip Hop acts (AWB, Quincy, Barry, Stylistics, Jackson 5, Stevie... Pharcycle, NWA Jurassic5.. too many to even mention!) 80s (DMode,NOrder etc) 90s Industrial Rock n Dance Act groups such as (KMFDM,NIN,Orbital,Prodigy etc).
His biggest strength lies in his versatility as DJ playing to different genres of music (70s/Soul, 80s, Hip Hop/RnB, Indie, Pop) and ability to read the crowd is second to none.
After 7 years of banging dancefloors of clubs in S'pore i.e (ChinaBlack, Momo, The Living Room etc), 2010 proved to be the spark of his career, when taken onboard to be part of StereoLab (SG) (now defunct) team as their latest Resident. Currently he's the new Resident of newly opened RoyalRoom n Mink(Saturdays only)!
And when comes to dance music, U will be taken on a ride of a full flowed combinative style of House, Deep, Soul, Funky, Tech, Electro, Prog n Techno, that got the crowd mesmerized and wanting to hear more.
Working alongside International Artists/DJs such as, Guy Manoukian, Aaron Ross, Rosie Romero, Gina Star, Stafford Bros, Russell Small (Freemasons), Danny Freakazoid, Mark Doyle, Boy George, Quintino, Born to Funk,
Nick Terranova aka Starkillers, Oliver Ingrosso, Miss Nine, Sean Brosnan, Patrick Oliver, DJ Widenski, Iain Thompson, Marc Vedo, Andreas Seider, Random Soul, etc, had got him to work even harder for success.
