About
Anibal Gonzalez, also known as Malamia, has been an active participant in the electronic music scene since the mid 90’s. In the mid 2000’s, after relocating to his native Puerto Rico, his love for house music motivated him to get more involved and began his journey in to the DJ world. His roots have always been firmly based in house music genre and to this day it’s still a driving force in all his ventures. But, as an artist, his sound has evolved and his cross genre mixing style has separated him from the pack. His attention to track selection and playlist is evident, but his never ending passion for the art of mixing is what keeps his sound fresh and dynamic. In 2008 he founded the crew “The Massive” along with his longtime partners Robert Get Filthie and Danny FX . The Electro/Dubstep trio have rocked the local Bass Scene and have set a new bar for other crews to follow. Malamia has shared the stage with many international acts such as Setve Aoki, Diesel Boy, John B, Total Recall, Rabbit in the Moon, Messinian, Dirty Talk, Le castle Vania, Kryteria, & Hulk, just to name a few. Every musical experience Malamia has taken part in over the last decade has made him a force to be reckoned with in the EDM scene, and his desire keep the crowd dancing and asking for more is what keeps him looking for the next best thing to motivate his never ending love for house and BASS.
